Payment Options: Payments can be made via direct deposit. Details will be provided on invoice.

Installment Plans: Weekly, fortnightly or monthly plans are available for if you prefer to pay in installments—just let me know before the term starts, and we can set it up.

Late Payments: Payments made after the first week of the term may result in lessons being paused until payment is received.

Public Holidays: If your regular lesson falls on a public holiday, the term invoice will be adjusted to reflect the missed lesson.

Resource Fees: Resource fees are tailored to each student’s unique needs, covering materials like sheet music, backing tracks, and lesson-specific resources. We’ll chat about any required materials at the start of the term to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. Students are welcome to waive the resource fee to source their own materials as guided by their teacher. We aim to keep these fees reasonable and fair while ensuring you’re fully equipped for your lessons.

Refunds: Once the term has started, term fees are non-refundable, as your lesson time is reserved just for you. This is unless a make-up lesson for a teacher absence has not been successfully rescheduled, in this instance a credit for the following term, or refund will be made.

Transaction Fee’s: Apply only to purchases made through this website such as gift vouchers. A transaction fee will not be applied to bookings made via the booking form, over the phone or via email. A person who is the receiver a gift voucher also will not pay a transaction fee. A transaction fee of 6% of the total amount of purchases made and paid for via this website.

  • 1a. Attendance (In studio/online)

    • Term Bookings: Students enrolled for the term will have a designated day and time-slot each week. Consistent attendance is encouraged to ensure the best learning outcomes.

    • Casual Bookings: Casual bookings are welcome and will be scheduled based on availability. These lessons are not guaranteed to have a consistent day or time each week and are subject to the studio’s current schedule.

    1b. Attendance (Outreach Students)

For students enrolled in outreach lessons, where I travel to your school, the following guidelines apply to ensure a smooth and productive experience:

    • Scheduled Lesson Time: Lessons will occur during a pre-arranged time slot in coordination with the school. Students are responsible for being on time and ready for their lesson. For younger students, your teacher will pick you up from your class before the lesson and return you after it has finished.

    • Attendance: Consistent attendance is key to progress. Please notify both the school and me in advance if a student is unable to attend their scheduled lesson.

    • Missed Lessons: If a student is unable to attend due to illness or another valid reason, please inform me as early as possible. Make-up lessons for missed outreach sessions are not guaranteed but may be considered depending on scheduling availability. Outreach students are welcome to attend a make-up lesson in studio.

    • Public Holidays or School Events: If a lesson falls on a public holiday or during a pre-notified school event where lessons cannot take place, no charge will be applied for that lesson.

    2. Make-Up Lessons:

If you need to miss a lesson, we’re happy to offer a make-up lesson per term where possible during the term in a gap or during the designated make-up lesson week during the first week of the school holidays. Please advise as soon as possible.

Additional make-up lessons cannot be guaranteed for absences beyond this.

    3. Online Lessons:

If attending in person isn’t possible, lessons can be held online with prior notice via Whereby.

    4. Missed Lessons:

As an alternative, you can submit a practice video before the lesson for feedback and a tailored response.

    5. Teacher Absences:

If I’m unable to attend a lesson e.g due to illness or a gig, I’ll arrange a make-up lesson or apply a credit to your account.
